The Museum of Nature and Science merged with the Dallas Museum of Natural History and the Science Place in 2006, resulting in an impressive glut of exhibit and diorama halls examining around 1.7 billion years in earth chronology. Topics include Ocean Dallas, Ice Age Dallas, Texas Dinosaurs, and even a Live Animal Room. The museum lies in Fair Park, just east of downtown.
