Fair Park is an historic events and entertainment center gathering nine museums and six performance venues into one place, as well beautifully manicured grounds, the Texas Vietnam Memorial, and lovely Smith Fountain. A 749,000-square-foot indoor arena is available for conferences, trade shows, and other meetings, and the park hosts the annual, massive State Fair of Texas. It occupies nearly 280 acres a couple miles east of downtown, near Samuell-Grand Park.
